Built for the film
world and its social circles the Hollywood Roosevelt Hoteld
in 1927 and quickly became the "Home of the Stars". The
hotel features 335 beautiful rooms including 20 luxury suites.
There are also 65 Cabana rooms in a tropical garden setting
bordering an Olympic swimming pool Jacuzzi and Tropical Bar.
For meetings and
festive banquets the Hollywood Roosevelt accommodates from six to
600. The now famous "Blossom Room" was the site of the
first Academy Awards presentation presided over by Douglas
Fairbanks. Oscars that night were given to Janet Gaynor Emil
Jannings and Victor Fleming.
The Hotels legendary
"Cinegrill" became a haven for writers such as Hemingway
and Fitzgerald and was a favorite romantic rendezvous for Clark
Gable and Carole Lombard. Today the "Cinegrill" Lounge
is the hottest and most popular spot for live cabaret
entertainment. Celebrities and guests enjoy jam sessions live jazz
and quiet cocktails any night of the week.
Errol Flynn invented
his own gin cocktail behind the barber shop and David Niven was
once given a room in the servant's quarters at the start of his
acting career. Theodore's elegant dining room is perfect for
